BCSO Seeks Armed Robbery Suspect

MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA — The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man suspected of armed robbery.

According to BCSO Cpl. John Martinez, on Oct. 14 at approximately 3:45 a.m., an unidentified man entered the Circle K convenience store, located at 2323 North Courtenay Parkway on Merritt Island.

According to Martinez, the suspect was carrying a black handgun and demanded money.

The suspect was described as being approximately 5-foot-8 and weighs approximately 200 pounds. During the incident, the suspect was dressed in black clothing with what appeared to be a black stocking covering his face. The suspect was last seen fleeing the area on foot.
