Detectives Working With State Attorney’s Office To Determine If Criminal Charges Apply

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Detectives with the Palm Bay police Special Operations Division are currently investigating a complaint regarding the alleged theft of campaign signs.

According to Yvonne Martinez, City of Palm Bay Public Information Coordinator, the initial complaint was received at approximately 11:30 p.m. Monday night and involved an individual reporting they were being followed.

Patrol officers responded to the parking lot in front of the police department and questioned the individuals involved.

This resulted in additional complaints being reported involving the alleged theft.

The investigation is still ongoing.

Detectives are working with the State Attorney’s Office to determine if criminal charges apply.
