Puerto Rican Day Parade Will Result In Lane Closures Sunday

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The eastbound lanes of Malabar Road between Eldron Boulevard and Aviation Avenue will be closed to traffic beginning at noon on Sunday, November 2 until approximately 4 p.m. due to the Puerto Rican Day Parade.

The City of Palm Bay spokeswoman Yvonne Martinez  said that Eldron Boulevard will also be closed from Malabar Road to JupiterBoulevard for parade staging.

“The westbound lanes of Malabar Road will be transitioned to support east-west traffic during the same time period,” said Martinez.

Patrol officers will be assigned in the area to direct traffic around the event.

Motorists should plan for traffic delays and consider alternate routes during this time.

The event will feature live bands, floats, marchers, dancing and food. Parade starts on Eldron Boulevard  heading west on Malabar Road.

The parade starts at 2 p.m., ending with a free festival at Palm Bay City Hall.
