BREVRAD COUNTY • MALABAR, FLORIDA – Rudolph Miller, 44, was struck and killed about 9:40 p.m. Sunday night while walking along the southbound lanes of Weber Road.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Miller, a resident of Malabar, was walking along Weber Road when a 2006 Volkswagen driven by 19-year old Dru C. Edmondson of Malabar struck him.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the impact with the front of the Volkswagen threw Miller to the shoulder of the roadway, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

This incident is under investigation by authorities.
