BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Logan the Bloodhound is the newest member of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Corrections K-9 Team.

Logan is about a year old and was given to the Sheriff’s Office as a donation from the Central Brevard Humane Society.

In his new career, Logan will join the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office team of elite K-9’s that assist in searching for missing children, missing seniors and fugitives.

Logan will receive scent training in-house by our Corrections K-9 Deputies who routinely provided training for other agencies throughout the country.

“I would like to personally thank Theresa Clifton of the Central Brevard Humane Society for donating Logan to us and also for everything she does to help animals in our community,” said Sheriff Wayne Ivey.  “Welcome aboard Logan!”
