Melbourne Community Orchestra Presents Hoiday Concerts

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Melbourne Community Orchestra will mark a quarter century of free performances with a special “25th Anniversary Celebration Holiday Concert” at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, Dec. 3 and 4 at the Melbourne Auditorium, locate at 625 Hibiscus Boulevard.

The audience can look forward to an evening of holiday favorites, including orchestral arrangements of Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride, Winter Wonderland, White Christmas, A Canadian Brass Christmas, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and a host of beloved Christmas tunes and carols.

Admission to all Melbourne Community Orchestra concerts is free. The 50-member group comprise the Orchestra in Residence for the City of Melbourne.

Musician and Melbourne Community Orchestra president, John Yust, knows the concert will put folks in the holiday spirit.

“Not even the Grinch could resist a concert like this,” said Yust. “For our players, it’s wonderful to be able to celebrate our 25th anniversary season with some of the world’s most beloved music.”
