Merritt Island Parade To Cause Temporary Road Closures

BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office will close Courtenay Parkway (State Road 3) from Grove Boulevard to Merritt Avenue and Merritt Avenue east to Plumosa Avenue at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, until approximately 12:30 p.m. for the Merritt Island Holiday Parade.

The traffic will be rerouted to Tropical Trail, State Road 520 and State Road 528. Motorists wishing to drive through the area are cautioned to allow extra time.
