No. 1 Ranked Chipola Defeats Eastern Florida 63-47

Titans to play College of Central Florida tuesday
BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Eastern Florida’s women’s basketball team played nationally No. 1-ranked Chipola College close for most of the game on Saturday before falling 63-47 in Marianna.
Eastern Florida trailed 24-20 at halftime and led 25-24 early in the second half before the Indians pressuring defense threw the Titans off stride.
Eastern Florida, ranked eighth in Florida, fell to 7-5. Chipola improved to 12-0.

Freshman Nene Johnson led EFSC with 18 points, four assists and three steals. Sophomore Rachelle Aupont added 13 points and nine rebounds.
Eastern Florida wraps up its pre-holiday schedule by hosting the College of Central Florida at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
College of Central Florida earlier beat the Titans 78-57. Eastern Florida is then off until hosting Niagara Community College at 6 p.m. Dec. 30.
Admission to all Titans home games is free.
