Sheriff Identifies Shooting Victim, Seeks Information

Steven Matthew Jackson Jr. of Melbourne Shot Multiple Times, Dies At Hospital
BREVARD COUNTY, COUNTY – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victim in the shooting incident that occurred Monday night in the 900 block of Virginia Avenue in the unincorporated area of Rockledge.
Deputies responded to the area at approximately 8:45 p.m., after a report of a man who had been shot.
Upon arrival, Deputies found 26-year-old, Steven Matthew Jackson Jr. of Melbourne, inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim, who cooperated with investigators, was transported to a local medical facility where he succumbed to his injuries, according to the Brevard County
