Juvenile victim dies at hospital

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic fatality that occurred around 5 p.m. at the intersection of West Central Boulevard and North Astronaut Boulevard in Cape Canaveral.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic fatality that occurred around 5 p.m. at the intersection of West Central Boulevard and North Astronaut Boulevard in Cape Canaveral.

The accident involved a vehicle and two pedestrians.

Two victims, an adult and juvenile, were transported to the hospital in critical condition, where the juvenile later died due to injuries.

The identities of the victims and driver are not being released at this time.

One southbound lane of Astronaut Boulevard was closed while Deputies investigated the crash.
