Eau Gallie Arts District Will Host Pride Festival Sept. 26

The Space Coast Pride has announced that the 8th annual Pride Festival will be held Saturday, September 26 in the vibrant Eau Gallie Arts District.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Space Coast Pride has announced that the 8th annual Pride Festival will be held Saturday, September 26 in the vibrant Eau Gallie Arts District.

The event will include the first ever LGBT Pride Parade in the Brevard County as well as art, music, food, beverages, vendors and games.

According to theSpace Coast Pride, the purpose of the festival is to foster a sense of community within all the LGBT community and to unite and celebrate diversity with our straight families, friends, neighbors and organizations.

In addition, Space Coast Pride will donate proceeds to many local non-profit organizations.

“The LGBT community in Brevard County continues to grow and diversify,” said Lexi Wright, President of Space Coast Pride.

“Our festival has outgrown our prior venue and we look forward to celebrating our recent marriage equality victory with the first LGBT Pride Parade in our area.

“We are excited to bring our festival, one of the most respected in the state, to the creative Eau Gallie Arts District to further expand our mission to increase our visibility and support local charities and businesses.”
