Emeril Lagasse traveled to the Space Coast last Fall and highlighted three outstanding area chefs for an episode of his television show, Emeril’s Florida, which will be aired for the first time next Sunday, Jan. 18 at 2:30 p.m. on the Cooking Channel.

Emeril begins in Cocoa Village at Cafe Margaux with owner Alex Litras, which serves bistro fare and has been among the places to go in Brevard for fine dining for almost 25 years.

His next stop is John and Mona Foy‘s The Fat Snook in Cocoa Beach, a family-owned casual beachside restaurant where the owners have a passion for fresh, local seafood, top quality seasonal ingredients and hand-selected boutique-style wines and craft beers from across the world.

His third stop is Cafe Coconut Cove in Melbourne Beach with Chef Franz-Peter Himmeroeder and his wife, Ellen, who moved to the Space Coast from Germany in 1985 . They opened the restaurant in 1987, serving up authentic German cuisine and craft beers.

Emeril’s cooking segment rounds out the episode with fresh, local seafood on the menu – Florida Lobster with Pappardelle.

The episode will run on Sunday, Jan. 18 at 2:30 p.m. on the Cooking Channel.
