2-7 mile detour will be in place

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – A major road closure is scheduled for the intersection of Cidco Road and North Cocoa Boulevard/US 1 in Cocoa.

This is part of the Florida Department of Transportation’s Cocoa Boulevard widening project. The contractor is Astaldi Construction Corporation.

Cidco Road will be closed to all through traffic at US 1 from Monday, January 26 through Tuesday, March 3. The contractor will be installing underground utilities and drainage, as well as rebuilding the roadway.

A 2-7 mile detour will be in place directing traffic. The total drive time for the detour will be approximately 5-10 minutes.
