BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne police arrested four men on Tuesday night about 9 p.m. suspected of manufacturing methamphetamine in the wooded area southwest of The Meadows Mobil Home Park, located at N. 1100 John Rhodes Boulevard in Melbourne.

Investigators, acting on a tip, located and shutdown two active methamphetamine labs in a joint operation of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Special Investigations Unit and the Melbourne Police Department Special Investigations Unit.

Investigators found materials “consistent with a meth operation” in the wooded area.

The lab was dismantled without incident.

“In our continuing efforts to identify persons manufacturing methamphetamine, this case is still under investigation,” said the Melbourne police in a statement.

Suspects arrested for their participation in the manufacture of methamphetamine by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Special investigations Unit include:

• Roger Foreman, 29, was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Traffic Methamphetamine, Trafficking, Methamphetamine and Possession of Listed Chemicals.

• Micah Johnson, 29, was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Traffic Methamphetamine, Trafficking, Methamphetamine and Possession of Listed Chemicals and Possession of Heroin.

Joey Netherton
Joey Netherton

• Joey Netherton, 24, was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Traffic Methamphetamine, Trafficking, Methamphetamine and Possession of Listed Chemicals and Resisting Arrest Without Violence.

• Ray Strand47, was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Traffic Methamphetamine, Trafficking, Methamphetamine and Possession of Listed Chemicals and Active Arrest Warrant for VOP Burglary.
