BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – The Rotary Club of Cocoa will host a “Party In The Park” fundraising concert featuring the The Doobie Brothers on Sunday, March 1, at Riverfront Park in Cocoa, to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida’s Cocoa Branch.

Youth development programs offered at the Boys & Girls Clubs are proven to combat these negative influences. Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida transform lives of at-risk youth in the Cocoa area with a new 10,000 square foot Boys & Girls Club on Dixon Boulevard.

The new Club, the third BGCCF location in Brevard County has the capacity to serve over 200 Club members annually, ages 6-18. Currently, BGCCF are unable to serve at maximum capacity due to a lack of funding.

The purpose of the Party in the Park event is to bring the club to full operational status.
