BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Florida Tech will play its final non-conference game of the season on Tuesday at Palm Beach Atlantic. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Rubin Arena in West Palm Beach.

The Panthers (13-9) beat the Sailfish (8-12) by two points on Jan. 6 in the Clemente Center. Both Jermaine Jackson and Akeem Johnson went 1-for-2 at the line in the last 44 seconds to ice the team’s 10th win of the season.

Corbin Jackson led five Panthers in double figures with 14 points, 10 rebounds and five blocks.

Garet Tucker had a big game for the Sailfish, pouring in 20 points on 70-percent shooting.

Having fallen three times in their last five games, FIT is looking to rebound from Saturday’s 70-62 loss at Tampa. Randy Echols totaled a career-high 23 points in just his second start of his career.

Chris Carter bumped his scoring average to 14.1 points per game following a 16-point output against the Spartans.

Palm Beach Atlantic is in the midst of a six-game homestand.

Up to this point, it has not gone nearly as well as it would have hoped as the Sailfish are 1-3 since Jan. 28. Last Saturday against Barry, the Buccaneers almost hit triple digits in their 99-75 win.

Clayton Williams was one of five Sailfish to score in double figures as he concluded with 16 points on 5-of-9 from the three-point line.
