BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – Melbourne Central Catholic (MCC) will host its annual dinner auction fundraiser on Saturday March 7, 2015.
Titled the “Green & Gold Gala,” this festive event will be held on the school’s campus.
Guests will enjoy cocktails, appetizers and dinner catered by The Tulip in Cocoa Village. More than 200 auction items will be available for bidding in a silent auction. Merchandise includes travel and restaurant gift certificates, jewelry, home decor, fine wines and much more.
A live auction will take place after dessert and features 10 unique gift packages including a week’s stay in Hawks Cay Resort, a guided bass fishing experience, a cruise for two and much more.
A new, exciting perk has been added to the sponsor packages. Table sponsors will have the chance to decide which MCC projects that $25,000 of the proceeds will be directed towards.
At the end of the evening four table sponsor names will be drawn from a barrel. The selected name will get to choose from a list of eight MCC projects—ranging from band equipment, to athletic uniforms, to classroom technology and more—to direct funds towards.

“We hope that this addition will add excitement to the evening,” said Tracy Steele, event coordinator.
“The opportunity for parents and supporters to have a say in how the school spends the nights proceeds is unique and has already gained a lot of attention from our supporters.”
