NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – We are looking at much colder weather through the late week – be sure to take cold weather precautions.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: A WIND CHILL ADVISORY is in effect for ALL OF EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA, as well as a FREEZE WARNING for VOLUSIA and NORTHERN LAKE counties.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Even colder temperatures are expected and a FREEZE WATCH includes ALL OF EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

Daytime Highs will only reach into the 50s through Friday.

If you hate cold weather, don’t despair — highs will return into the 70s on Saturday and may top 80 in spots on Sunday.
