School Lockdown Lifted, Police Investigate Shooting

Satellite High, DeLaura and Holland locked down

Satellite High School, DeLaura Middle School and Holland Elementary School have been locked down by Brevard County Schools as a result of an active shooting investigation by police at a residence on Glenwood Avenue.
Satellite High School, DeLaura Middle School and Holland Elementary School were locked down on Thursday morning by Brevard County Schools as a result of an active shooting investigation by police at a residence on Glenwood Avenue.

UPDATE:

The lockdown of Satellite High School, DeLaura Middle School and Holland Elementary School has been lifted by Brevard County Schools, and an active shooting investigation by police at a residence on Glenwood Avenue continues.

According to police, a man was shot on Thursday morning and taken to the hospital.

BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – Satellite High School, DeLaura Middle School and Holland Elementary School have been locked down by Brevard County Schools as a result of an active shooting investigation by police at a residence on Glenwood Avenue. (Map below)

Glenwood Avenue and Kale Street have been blocked by authorities, and police are continuing to investigate the incident.
