UCF Hockey Travels To Rocklege For Charity Game

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA — The UCF Knights ice hockey club team will travel to the IcePlex in Rockledge on Saturday for a charity game against a select team consisting of former pro and NCAA players.
The charity game will start at 5 p.m. Tickets are $8 for adults and $5 for children under 12.
All proceeds from the game will benefit the Wounded Warriors Project.
Founded in 1997, the UCF Ice Hockey program competes as an independent team in Division III of the American Collegiate Hockey Association. CLICK HERE to view the UCF hockey roster.
The team consistently ranks among the nation’s top squads with nine consecutive national championship appearances and two third place finishes.
Under head coach Sean Weaver, the program boasts numerous team and individual accomplishments on and off of the ice.
“We’re really excited to play in this game for such a great cause,” Coach Weaver said.
