CIMS is the first consensus-based standard that outlines the primary characteristics of a successful, quality cleaning organization.
The rigorous process to achieve certification began two years ago with training and culminated with a comprehensive, on-site assessment by an independent, ISSA-accredited assessor.

This designation also gives BAC the capability to provide green cleaning services that will assist customers in achieving points under the LEED- Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance (LEED-EBOM) Green Building Rating System.
“We are extremely pleased to not only achieve the certification, but also be so highly rated by ISSA,” said Wayne Wells, vice president of operations.
“Earning this certification demonstrates to our existing and potential custodial customers that we are committed to the delivery of environmentally preferable services that are not only designed to meet their needs and expectations, but also assist them in achieving points in the LEED process.”
BAC also holds Certified Laundry and Linen Management (CLLM) certification for custodial services, as well as certifications in the following areas of operations: food operations (ServSafe), building services (Facility Management Professional) and grounds operations (Sports Turfgrass Maintenance).
