Christian Music Festival Set For March 21 In Cocoa

Festival Will Feature Randy Stonehill, A Member of the Christian Music Hall of Fame
BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – Brevard County’s largest annual non-denominational Christian music festival kicks off at 12 noon on Saturday, March 21 at Riverfront Park in Cocoa, and will culminate at 9 p.m. after a full day of music and family-friendly activities.
The ninth annual Spring Praise Fest will include five of Brevard’s top Christian music bands and feature Randy Stonehill, a member of the Christian Music Hall of Fame.
The singer/songwriter, with over 800 compositions and a Gospel Music Association “Dove Award” to his credit, is considered a pioneer of modern Christian music.

Trinity Fitness founder, Jason Anthony Palmisano, better known as “The Florida Chalk Guy,” will address the crowd while creating an inspirational chalk drawing.
Now in its ninth year, the family event features an entire day of music, food, and activities.
The public is invited to bring a blanket or lawn chair to enjoy the music of five Brevard contemporary praise bands scheduled to perform in the Riverfront Park amphitheater at 401 Riveredge Boulevard in Cocoa, 32922.
At 4 p.m., food trucks will arrive at the outdoor, contemporary Christian music festival and park adjacent to the amphitheater.

Onsite festival activities and attractions are all free of charge and include a water park, two bounce houses, face painting, assorted children’s crafts and games and a 24′ rock-climbing wall.
For a small fee, attendees can also engage in bungee jumping.
Festival-goers are encouraged to bring a serviceable pair of shoes for donation to Brevard’s homeless, along with a new pair of socks.
Moderately priced food and beverages items will be available for sale prior to the 4 p.m. arrival of the food trucks.

ABOUT JASON ANTHONY PALMISANO
Jason Anthony Palmisano, a Connecticut native, moved to the Sunshine State with his family at an early age.

His love for sports began during childhood and flourished in high school, culminating in an football scholarship to the University of North Carolina and education at the University of Central Florida in Physical Education.
Jason solidified his faith in Jesus Christ and became involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
A talented artist and public speaker, Jason began reaching out to Florida’s Christian community, appearing at churches, festivals and faith gatherings, where he impressed audiences with spiritually themed chalk drawings.
Quickly, “Jason Anthony” earned a reputation as “The Florida Chalk Guy.” In 2008, Jason and his wife, Wendy, co-founded Trinity Fitness Ministries, Inc., which seeks to combine physical growth with spiritual growth.
