Cocoa Beach Police Seek Wakulla Motel Armed Robber

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – An armed suspect robbed the Wakulla Motel, located at 3550 N. Atlantic Avenue (State Road A1A) in Cocoa Beach, at about 3:40 on Saturday.

According to the Cocoa Beach police, the suspect is a white male; approximately 20-30 years old; 5-feet-5 to 5-feet-9 inches tall; wearing a gray baseball cap, black shirt, jeans and black shoes; and has a tattoo on his left arm, from the elbow to the wrist.

According to police, the suspect entered the front check-in desk lobby area of the motel with a handgun, grabbed an undetermined amount of cash and then fled on foot toward State Road A1A.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact CRIMELINE by calling 1-800-423-TIPS. For information leading to a felony arrest, you may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
