Cocoa Beach Police Seek Wakulla Motel Armed Robber

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – An armed suspect robbed the Wakulla Motel, located at 3550 N. Atlantic Avenue (State Road A1A) in Cocoa Beach, at about 3:40 on Saturday.
According to the Cocoa Beach police, the suspect is a white male; approximately 20-30 years old; 5-feet-5 to 5-feet-9 inches tall; wearing a gray baseball cap, black shirt, jeans and black shoes; and has a tattoo on his left arm, from the elbow to the wrist.
According to police, the suspect entered the front check-in desk lobby area of the motel with a handgun, grabbed an undetermined amount of cash and then fled on foot toward State Road A1A.
The Cocoa Beach police is requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact CRIMELINE by calling 1-800-423-TIPS. For information leading to a felony arrest, you may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. You don’t have to give your name, and your identity will be protected.
