UPDATE: 3 p.m.

I-95 southbound lanes have reopened at State Road 520 after a rollover crash Sunday afternoon.

According to Brevard County Fire Rescue, two children were taken to Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando.

The children’s identity has not been released and their condition is currently unknown.

Crash Shuts Down Southbound I-95 At SR 520

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA, FLORIDA – A crash with serious injuries occurred about 12 noon on Sunday that has blocked the southbound lanes of I-95 at State Road 520.

According to Brevard County Fire Rescue, the crash involves an overturned vehicle.

BCFR reports that there are two pediatric trauma alerts and a First Flight is en route to the scene.

Authorities advise motorist to detour on to US 1 to avoid the crash site.
