Lifeguard Training Course Offered In Palm Bay April 10

BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – The Palm Bay Aquatic Center will offer an American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course beginning April 10.
The center is located at 420 Community College Parkway, just south of the Eastern Florida State College Campus.
Class dates and times are April 10 and 17, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.; April 11, 12, 18 and 19, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The cost is $250 and includes book and a CPR mask.
The course will certify participants in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid.
Participants must be 15 years of age to participate and pass a swim test consisting of a 300 yard swim, 10 pound brick retrieval at a depth of 10 feet and two minute treading water (legs only).
Participants must be present for all class days and times.
