The Rockledge Police Department is partnering up with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Omega Omicron Zeta Chapter & Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Kappa Chi Sigma Chapter for a community workshop entitled “Law & Order – Successful Interactions With Law Enforcement.”

BREVARD COUNTY • ROCKLEDGE, FLORIDA – The Rockledge Police Department is partnering up with Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Omega Omicron Zeta Chapter & Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Kappa Chi Sigma Chapter for a community workshop entitled “Law & Order – Successful Interactions With Law Enforcement.”

The purpose behind the event aims to establish communication and trust with the community and law enforcement.

“The agenda is set for building trust to ensure public safety for all,” said Michelle Vance – Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Omega Omicron Zeta Chapter Social Action Coordinator

The workshop is set for Thursday, March 12 from 6–8 P.M. at the Rockledge Police Department community room, located at 1776 Jack Oates Boulevard in Rockledge.unnamed

 “Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc  is a community-conscious, action-oriented organization.  Through our Get Engaged initiative, we aim to address some of the underlying issues that are destroying our communities,” said Gina Nater, President of Omega Omicron Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.

Omega Omicron Zeta, the Brevard Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc is partnering with the Kappa Chi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc and Rockledge Police Department.

Omega Omicron Zeta, the Brevard Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc is partnering with the Kappa Chi Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc and Rockledge Police Department to implement the first of a series of quarterly programs focused on justice, media diversity, public policy and civic engagement.

“Through our Get Engaged programs, we hope to strengthen relationships between the community and law enforcement as well as encourage more citizen engagement,” said Michelle Vance, Social Action Coordinator, Omega Omicron Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority.
