Sheriff Seeks Assistance To Identify Burglary, Fraud Suspect

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance in identifying a female burglary suspect captured on surveillance camera video during two incidents in February.

According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, the first incident involved the unknown female suspect entering the victim’s vehicle on February 6 at about 11:30 a.m. at the Sunoco located at 7798 N. Wickham Road in Melbourne.

The suspect is seen on video surveillance pulling up to the adjacent pump in a silver or white, four door coupe. In a crouched position, the suspect slowly opens the victim’s passenger door, enters and removed the victim’s wallet while the victim was pumping fuel.

On February 12, the Sheriff’s Office investigated a second incident at the Raceway gas station located, at 3555 W. King Street in Cocoa. The same female suspect used the victim’s credit card at a nearby store, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

According to the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, the same female suspect was seen on surveillance video utilizing the stolen credit cards at several other store locations.

CRIMELINE-580-2The suspect’s vehicle is described as a late model silver Chevrolet Suburban with a sunroof. The suspect is a white female with red hair who may have recently colored it black. She is approximately 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-7 inches tall, and is weighs 150 to 160 pounds.
