BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – Matthew Hagerty, 24, of Titusville, was discovered dead in his vehicle by police at 2:25 p.m. on Wednesday.

TITUSVILLE-BREAKING-180-19According to the Titusville Police Lt. Matt Demmon, the department received a 911 call about a suspicious vehicle parked in an open lot next to a vacant house at 1165 Mockingbird Lane.

Officers responding to the scene and found Hagerty dead in his vehicle.

Investigators are on scene and are actively working this investigation and will provide any updates as the investigation continues.

CRIMELINE-580-2According to police, several suspects were seen running from the vehicle when the call was received. Witnesses described the suspects as three black males.
