BOB FREEMAN’S WEEKEND SURF REPORT

By  //  April 3, 2015

Waves are looking mostly unrideable this morning. Late-morning's lower tide could help make the small waves more rideable by then. Surfers seeking an early morning surf session may want to focus on Cocoa Beach's northernmost beaches for a longboardable wave.
Cocoa Beach ocean temperatures now average 74 degrees. A vest or springsuit for early morning surfers may provide the best option against this weekends cooler air temps.

SURF REPORT FOR APRIL 3-5

Bob Freeman has been surfing Brevard's waves since 1966.

SATURDAY: Saturday’s surf will decrease into the mostly knee- to thigh-high range.  Early morning offshore winds will again provide clean longboardable lines.

SUNDAY: Sunday’s surf will build into the chest-high range. Expected strong northeasterly winds will produce very bumpy and drifty conditions. Capable shortboarders should be able to find some fun lumps and bumps to surf on.
