Proponents who believe the federal government will never go back on their promise to fund programs should shudder over the chaos that Washington, D.C. has created. Imagine if we were trying to cash their $50 billion dollar check, which by the way, is drawn from an account with insufficient funds. We can continue to debate the reasons why Medicaid expansion is wrong for Florida; however, for the sake of our state, we should fulfill our constitutional duty to pass a balanced budget.
