LARGEST-RABBITT-180-1Darius the rabbit, who measures 4-feet, 4 inches in length, and tips the scales at a whopping 49 pounds, is officially the world’s largest rabbit.

However, his title is now being contested by his son Jeff, who is already 3 feet, 8 inches long, and still has six months left of growing to do.

Jeff the rabbit, pictured with his owner Annette Edwards, measures 3ft 8in long and is set to challenge for the title of the world’s biggest bunny.

The rabbits’ owner, Annette Edwards, from Bromsgrove, U.K., looks forward to the day when Jeff overtakes his father.

It costs her about $7,500 a year to feed her enormous bunnies, as they munch their way through 2,000 carrots and 700 apples.

Every day, the father and son duo also eat a huge dog bowl full of specialist rabbit food, as well as a bale of hay a week.
