WATCH LIVE: ESA’s Southeast Regional Surfing Championships

ABOVE LIVESTREAM: The Eastern Surfing Association (ESA)’s Southeast Regional Surfing Championship is being held April 16-19 at Paradise Beach Park in Melbourne Beach.
Approximately 200 competitors will participate in this amateur surfing competition.
Established in 1967, the ESA is recognized as the largest amateur surfing organization in the United States.
The ESA is a volunteer-driven,non-profit organization dedicated to the sport of amateur surfing, to the operation of a program of amateur competition for surfers of all ages and abilities, and to the establishment and preservation of free access to a clean shoreline and ocean environment.
Many professional surfers began their surfing careers within the ESA, and the ones from Florida surfed the Southeast Regional event that qualified them to compete at the ESA’s Easterns Surfing Championship each September.
