BREVARD COUNTY • PALM BAY, FLORIDA – Batten down the hatches and get ready to rumble as Palm Bay hosts its third annual Food Truck Wars.

FOOD-TRUCK-WARS-180-1Food Truck Wars returns to Palm Bay on Saturday, May 2, from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Eastern Florida State College Fairgrounds; 250 Community College Pkwy., Palm Bay.

This is a great, family friendly event with food choices sure to please even the pickiest eaters.

Food Truck Wars features over 40 gourmet food trucks from all over the state competing for five prestigious prizes awarded by celebrity judges.

The competition includes five categories: the Corny Award, Top Sales, Delectable Desserts, Casual Cuisine and the coveted People’s Choice Award.

“Palm Bay welcomes Food Truck Wars back for a third year,” says Gail Merrill, Community Outreach Coordinator for Palm Bay’s Parks & Recreations Department.

“This event is a great way to bring people together for an innovative dining experience and a lot of fun.”

Join Palm Bay’s Grand Marshal, Mayor William Capote, as he opens the Battle Field.

There are lots of choices from Vietnamese to Philly Cheesesteaks to lobster and everything in between.

Make sure you leave room for dessert because there will be plenty of that too.

Costs run from $3 to $18 with many entrees averaging between $6 and $8.

Food Truck Wars combines a festival atmosphere with lots of delicious food choices to create a lively casual dining experience for consumers.
