BREVARD COUNTY • CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA –The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit arrested Elijah Ross, Sr. on Wednesday. Ross was listed as this week’s “Fugitive of the Week” and was wanted for Violation of Probation for Aggravated Child Abuse By Willful Torture or Malicious Punishment

The arrest occurred as the members of our Fugitive Unit were following up on leads they had previously developed about Ross potentially being at the Cape Canaveral location.

Ross admitted to knowing that he was wanted on the warrant but had not been made aware that he was the “Turn ‘Em In Tuesday” Fugitive of the Week yet.

After learning from our team that he had been listed on FaceBook Ross stated “I will now become a follower of FaceBook so I know the next time the Fugitive Unit is coming for me.”

Apparently he has not figured out yet that when you are the Turn ‘Em In Tuesday Fugitive of the Week everyone in our community is looking for you.

Here’s a novel idea though, how about staying out of trouble so there is no next time.
