Florida Tech’s Offshore Fishing Tournament Kicks Off Tonight

BREVARD COUNTY • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA –The registration deadline for the inaugural Florida Tech Football Offshore Fishing tournament closes today at 7 p.m.

Tournament weekend will kick off with a captain’s party, sponsored by Mercedes-Benz, Porsche and Audi of Melbourne, at its dealership on 509 East NASA Blvd. in Melbourne.

The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, May 30 with the official weigh-in at 4 p.m. at the boat ramp at Jetty Park in Cape Canaveral.

The entry fee to participate is $300 with proceeds benefiting the Panther Football program.

Additionally, sponsorship slots remain available at the $500 and $1,000 dollar levels.

Following the tournament, an awards party will be sponsored by and held at Florida Beer Company, 200 Imperial Blvd., Cape Canaveral, FL 32920.
