NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE • MELBOURNE, FLORIDA – A warm and breezy Memorial Day is expected across the area with isolated showers along the coast transitioning inland this afternoon.

A main concern will continue to be rough surf and life threatening rip currents along area beaches today.

A Beach Hazards Statement has been issued for dangerous surf and rip currents.

Though you may want to have a section of the beach all to yourself, do not get too far away from the watchful eye of a lifeguard!
