WILL TRAVEL TO ALLEN, TEXAS

ABOVE VIDEO: Viera High School team physician Dr. Mark Pinsky talks with Viera High football coaches and players about the Hawk’s upcoming season, which includes a road trip to Texas. Dr. Pinsky has practiced family and sports medicine in Brevard County for 20 years and is currently caring for Viera High athletes.

BREVARD COUNTY • VIERA, FLORIDA – Last season was a historic one as Viera High School finished with an undefeated 10-0 football season and were the 7A-12 District Champions for the first time in school history.

This year, the Hawks hope to continue this tradition and have already begun planning for an outstanding 2015 season.

“To continue the tradition of “firsts,” our football team is planning to travel to Allen, Texas for an out-of-state matchup against Allen High School,” said Hawks head coach Kevin Mays.

“Unfortunately, our sports budget is not adequate enough to cover the full amount of our team’s season expenses, plus an out-of-state game. We are seeking donations of any amount to help cover the costs of travel expenses.

Currently, the Hawks are working hard as they prepare for their spring game against Spruce Creek next Thursday.
