Alex Popowycz Joins Health First As Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Alex Popowycz has joined Health First as the new Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer where he is responsible for providing technology vision and leadership in the Information Technology Department.
Popowycz is an established leader in information technology with expertise in Internet security, identity management, privacy and emerging technology, as well as a strong business and technical skills background.
Before joining Health First, Popowycz served as the Vice President, Enterprise Information Security for Fidelity Investments.
During his 20-year career with Fidelity Investments, he was responsible for security architecture, information security governance, risk communication and training programs.
He designed and delivered solutions including cloud computing, mobile technologies and social media.
He also led cross-industry initiatives in information technology and cyber security.
Popowycz began his career as an Air Force officer, leading several national intelligence and information technology initiatives.
He has a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy and a Master of Business Administration from Bentley University.
