BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA — Florida Eye Associates, Brevard County’s largest ophthalmology practice, announced that Jason J. Ross, M.D., has joined the group.

Dr. Ross is a board certified ophthalmologist who specializes in complex plastics and reconstructive surgery around the eyes, treatments for droopy eyelids, and cosmetic injections and fillers to soften the signs of aging.

Florida Eye Associates is Brevard County’s largest ophthalmology practice, providing families and seniors with quality eye care for more than 45 years.

Its board-certified team of ophthalmologists and optometrists provide full-service eye care, including specialized treatments for the retina, cataracts and glaucoma, as well as LASIK and cosmetic surgery.

Dr. Ross joins the cosmetic team that is led by Neal Freeman, M.D., a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery, eyelid surgery and cosmetic injections and fillers.

In addition to in-patient services, Florida Eye Associates also operates a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center (ASC of Brevard), where its board-certified surgeons perform reconstructive eye surgery, as well as specialized treatments for the retina, cataracts and glaucoma.

“He brings unique strengths and experience in the area of complex oculoplastics, blepharoplasty and facial cosmetic surgery, and has quickly become a valuable addition to our cosmetic team.”

Dr. Ross received a B.S. in Chemistry from the United States Naval Academy, and a Doctor of Medicine from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.

He served his Residency in Ophthalmology at the National Naval Medical Center, and a Fellowship in Oculoplastics at the University of Cincinnati. Prior to joining the group, he was with the Eye Associates of Tallahassee where he specialized in ophthalmology, plastic and reconstructive surgery.

“I am honored to be a part of the Florida Eye Associates oculoplastic team and to help patients improve their appearance around the delicate eye area,” said Dr. Ross.

“It is rewarding to work with both men and women, to help them look and feel better.”

Florida Eye Associates has four locations throughout Brevard, including Melbourne, Cocoa Beach, Viera and Palm Bay. Dr. Ross is currently seeing patients in the Melbourne and Viera locations.
