The Cocoa Beach Police Department arrested Steven Wayne Naughale II, 27, of Cape Canaveral for Aggravated Assault on Tuesday afternoon in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on June 4.

BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – The Cocoa Beach Police Department arrested Steven Wayne Naughale II, 27, of Cape Canaveral for Aggravated Assault on Tuesday afternoon in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on June 4.

According to CID Commander Major Wes Mullins of the Cocoa Beach Police, an investigation revealed Naughale was delivering newspapers in a residential neighborhood, blowing his vehicle horn while doing so. 

Maj. Mullins said that a resident confronted Naughhale, at which time Naughhale displayed a handgun, firing one round in the direction of the resident.  The resident was not injured.
