BREVARD COUNTY • COCOA BEACH, FLORIDA – The Cocoa Beach police are seeking an armed man who robbed a Four Points by Sheraton courier on Wednesday at about 12:18 p.m.

According to Cocoa Beach police, the victim reported a black male approached him at his vehicle, brandished a handgun and stole his backpack that contained an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as 5-feet-8, medium build and wearing dark clothing.

Police said the suspect fled the scene, but his mode of transportation is not yet known.

Four Points by Sheraton is located at 4001 N. Atlantic Avenue on Cocoa Beach.

According to Cocoa Beach police, this is an active, ongoing investigation and appears to be an isolated incident.
