BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Meet “Cocoa” who is our Sheriff’s Pick of the Week.

Cocoa was originally brought to our South Animal Care Center with a tumor on her foot that made it difficult and painful for her to walk.

Our on-staff Veterinarian, Dr. Boyd, contacted the staff at Island Animal Hospital in Merritt Island who not only performed surgery to remove the tumor, but also graciously donated all the costs as well.

Cocoa is a very sweet girl who is approximately 9 years old. She is great with other dogs and cats and loves children.
