BREVARD COUNTY • MERRITT ISLAND, FLORIDA – Island Paint & Decorating started in 1983 as a simple paint and wallpaper store and has evolved into a shopping experience unique to the east coast of central Florida.

The IP&D designers are excited to assist you with any of your Interior Design projects. From full home designs to one time accessorizing appointment, they are ready to work with you on creating a beautiful environment that reflects your taste and lifestyle.

Terri’s husband, Billy Pentz, is the owner of the East Coast Cabinet Company. You could say home improvement runs in the family. Terri is known for keeping up with the newest trends.

“Its great to see how design is constantly evolving and how I can incorporate these ideas into my clients homes,” said Terri.

We asked Terri what she thought was one thing that would improve any space and her biggest tip was to determine what is beautiful or functional, and take out everything else. “Simplicity is a timeless and tasteful look,” she said.

• Betty Greenway was born in Pekin, Indiana and has lived in the Sunshine State since she was 5-years old. Betty and her husband, Gary Greenway, opened Island Paint and Decorating more than 30 years ago in 1983. Betty’s style is an eclectic combination of traditional, tropical and antique with a splash of modern touches. Betty believes every home should have its own Safe Haven. A space that is full of inviting colors, comfortable furniture, and a general cozy atmosphere.

If there is one thing Betty believes will improve any space, it is to organize. People gather so much stuff over the years. By keeping things in order will make a space look better and will make you feel better.

• Brock Heruth was born in Mississippi and raised in Virginia and recently moved to Florida. He went to George Mason University and Eastern Florida State College. Brock’s personal design style is Coastal Transitional. He believes a home should be both comfortable and functional. “A good balance will make you love every aspect of it,” said Brock.

We asked Brock what was one tip to improve any space and he said a Fresh Coat of Paint.

“When you think about it walls fill out so much space in a room, changing the color is the least expensive way to redefine a space.“

• Holly Wiese is from Lafayette, Louisiana and graduated with an Associates of Science in Interior Design from Brevard Community College. Her personal design style is Antique Modern.

“I really love combining traditional and vintage items with modern and edgy ones,” said Holly.

Holly believes that every home should reflect your style. We asked her what is one tip she would give to improve any home, and she said minimize.

“A few well placed items are much better than too many items that do not fit.”
