BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The District 22 Champion in the 9/10 Baseball division was decided on Friday night between the Cocoa pool winner – Cocoa Little League – and the Rockledge pool winner – Merritt Island Little League.
Cocoa’s A. Williams and B. Clark each scored a run. But, Merritt Island’s S. Carlson had 2 RBI and scored 3 runs, R. Dawson went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI and scored 2 runs and R. Diaz went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI and scored twice helping their team to a 20-2 victory in 4 innings.
Merritt Island Little League moves on to represent District 22 at the Section 3 Tournament for 9/10 Baseball on July 11, at DeLand.
