BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office has completed the investigation into the death of Catherine Looby that occurred on February 19, and according to BCSO, has determined the manner of death as suicide.

The investigation began when Looby’s body was discovered behind a construction site on Shell Street, in Satellite Beach.

The body was located by several construction workers who were reporting to work. Based on the suspicious circumstances surrounding the initial discovery of her body, the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Crime Scene Units were asked to conduct the investigation, according to Maj.
