BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – It was my great pleasure to attend the recent Florida Space Coast Council of the National Management Association Awards Banquet held at The Tides Officers Club at Patrick Air Force Base.

Among those honored was our Sexual Assault Victims Services Supervisor Teresa Andersen, selected as the 2015 Brevard County Manager of the Year.

The Space Coast Council of the NMA (National Management Association) is dedicated to managerial excellence, personal and professional growth, and leadership development.

The award is given annually during National Management Week and is designed to highlight the importance of integrity, leadership and highly developed management skills in today’s workforce.

I’d like to congratulate Teresa for her outstanding leadership and thank all of the members of the SAVS program for their dedicated efforts on behalf of victims and their families.
