Titusville Police Conducts Death Investigation After Discovering Body In House Fire

BREVARD COUNTY • TITUSVILLE, FLORIDA – The Titusville police is conducting a death investigation after a body was discovered in a house fire at 1390 Thornton Avenue on Monday just after 4 p.m.
According to Amy Matthews of the Titusville Police Department, investigators suspect that the victim found in the house is an adult female resident and there is no evidence of foul play at this point.
Matthews said the case remains a death investigation pending the Medical Investigators office cause of death.
The State Fire Marshall is also conducting an investigation.
