BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard Cultural Alliance Education and Community Arts Manager Pablo Remonsellez was presented with the 2015 Florida Alliance for Arts Education Professional Leadership Award in June at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Orlando.
Each year, the Florida Alliance for Arts Education recognizes leaders who work in various capacities to ensure that high-quality arts education is made available to Florida students.
This award specifically recognizes leadership in advocacy and building of public awareness regarding the important role of the arts in education.
Since 2007, Remonsellez has served as the BCA Education and Community Arts Manager.
In this role, he coordinates and manages all BCA arts education programs, including the organization’s Technology Through the Arts and after-school artist residencies programs, both of which bring highly-qualified, professional artists into the K-12 school environment to facilitate art-based learning.
Remonsellez was also recently appointed to the Florida Alliance for Arts Education Board.
