Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputies Arrest Canova Beach Park Stabbing Suspects

Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Canova Beach Park, located at 3299 North Highway A1A in Melbourne, on Sunday at about 11:45 p.m. to investigate the report of a stabbing.According to Cpl. Dave Jacobs of the Brevard County Sheriff's Office, a 45-year-old male victim reported that he was stabbed.during an argument by two men, later identified as 52-year-old Michael Robertson and 51-year-old James Beecham.

BREVARD COUNTY, FLORIDA – Brevard County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Canova Beach Park, located at 3299 North Highway A1A in Melbourne, on Sunday at about 11:45 p.m. to investigate the report of a stabbing.

According to Cpl. Dave Jacobs of the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, a 45-year-old male victim reported that he was stabbed.during an argument by two men, later identified as 52-year-old Michael Robertson and 51-year-old James Beecham.

Agents located both Robertson and Beecham, who cooperated by providing locations to evidence.

Both men were charged with Attempted First Degree Murder and transported to the Brevard County Jail under a no bond status.

The victim, who is not being identified at this time, was transported to the hospital where he underwent surgery and is still in critical condition.
