Disney World Removes Bill Cosby Tribute Statue

LAKE BUENA VISTA, FLORIDA — Walt Disney World removed a Bill Cosby removed from Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park, a Walt Disney World spokeswoman told the Orlando Sentinel.
According to the Sentinel and WKMG, the statue was removed Tuesday night after the park closed. Disney did not have further comment.
Disney’s decision to remove the bust came after an online petition was started at change.org in response to newly discovered documents that revealed that Cosby testified in 2005 he had obtained Quaaludes with the intent of giving them to women with whom he wanted to have sex.
